First Lady Melania Trump and President Donald Trump will be receiving the White House Christmas tree Monday morning.

Pennsylvania resident Larry Snyder of Mahantongo Valley Farms will be presenting the 2019 White House Christmas Tree. Mr. Snyder won this year’s National Christmas Tree Association’s contest. The winner has the honor of presenting their tree to The First Family.

A horse-drawn carriage will deliver the tree to the North Portico of the White House.

The winning tree has long served as a centerpiece for Christmas decorations. It’s height must stand between 18-19 feet tall, allowing it to reach the ceiling in the Blue Room of the White House.
